The environment around the hydraulic cylinder needs to be kept clean, and the tank should be sealed to prevent pollution. Pipelines and fuel tanks should be cleaned to prevent scale and other debris from falling. Clean hydraulic cylinder need to use lint-free cloth or special cleaning paper. Twine and adhesives should not be used as sealing materials. According to the design requirements of the hydraulic cylinder, pay attention to the change of oil temperature and oil pressure. When no load is on, remove the exhaust bolt to exhaust.

The base of the hydraulic cylinder must have sufficient stiffness, otherwise the cylinder will warp upward when pressurized, resulting in the bending of the piston rod.

With a mobile cylinder with a fixed foot base, the central shaft of the cylinder should be concentric with the center line of the load force to avoid lateral force, which is easy to wear the seal. When the hydraulic cylinder of the moving object is installed, the cylinder and the moving object are kept parallel in the direction of movement on the guide rail surface, and the parallelism is generally not greater than 0.05mm/m.
